Captain George’s Seafood Restaurant

If you’re a seafood super lover and looking for your fill, look no further than Captain George’s Seafood Restaurant. It’s hands done the best seafood buffet on the Grand Strand! They have over hundreds of options on their buffet including prime rib, snow crab legs, scallops, peel-and-eat shrimp, chicken tenders, and more! Captain George’s also has an a la carte menu for those not feeling the challenge of taking on the buffet. Open daily from 2 PM to 9:30 PM, adult buffets are $32.99 and kids ages 5-12 are $19.99. Sobaya Japanese Bistro

This local little bistro has some of the best Japanese food! If you’re in the mood for authentic Japanese their menu will not disappoint. The menu includes lunch and dinner items like jabchae, yaki udon, ramen bowls, rice bowls, and more! Sobaya is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM and 5:00 to 8:00 PM.

Eggs Up Grill

Calling all breakfast lovers! Eggs Up Grill is a favorite among the locals, it’s so well-liked that multiple locations have popped up all over the Grand Strand. They offer breakfast and lunch items but our favorite by far is the breakfast. Order up a Mason Dixon with 2 eggs cooked to order, sausage or bacon, biscuits and gravy and a side of home fries or grits. Eggs Up has southern favorites with a twist like their to-die-for sweet potato praline pancakes and their hash benedict. They’re open from 6 AM – 2 PM daily, be sure to stop in!

Dagwood’s Deli

Another local favorite and with 2 great locations is Dagwood’s Deli. One of the best pub food joints in town and you can enjoy it with friends over a couple of cold beers or with the family booth-style. They offer a variety of mouth-watering burgers, baskets, and sandwiches like Rachel’s Reuben, The Famous Dagwood Burger, and Dagwood’s Dipper. Dagwood’s also serves up bar food favorites like chicken tenders (the best we’ve ever had), jalapeno poppers, and wings. Don’t forget to check out their happy hour and drink specials daily!

Sol y Luna

Sol y Luna will transport you to South America during this dining experience. They have a fantastic happy hour menu with bits like tacos, nachos, and pupusas between $3-6 and freshly made margaritas that will leave you wanting more than one. Try some of their authentic dishes like pollo en coco, chuletas asadas, and el boricua! Open daily from 11:30 AM – 10:00 PM.
