Captain George’s Seafood Restaurant

With over 60 items to choose from plus their a la carte menu, Captain George’s is a favorite on the Grand Strand. Get your fill of snow crab legs, oysters Rockefeller, and steamed mussels…just to name a few. 

For those guests who are gluten-intolerant, there are a variety of options on the buffet. A kitchen manager is available to walk these guests through the buffet line and offer information or will happily prepare something special in a freshly sterilized pan. 

Located across Hwy 17 Byp from Broadway at the Beach, Captian George’s is open 364 days a year. They are closed on Christmas day. Regular hours are Monday – Friday at 4 PM, Saturday at 2 PM, and Sunday at 12 PM.

Crabby Mike’s was voted Best Seafood Buffet and Best All You Can Eat Buffet by Best of the Beach 2018 — and they really are one of the best! Their buffet includes a hot bar, cold bar, soup bar, salad bar, fruit, and dessert bar. They offer over 100 items on their buffet including crab cakes, snow crab legs, boom boom shrimp, deviled crab, and steamed crawfish. 

Crabby Mike’s offers their buffet at market price. They are open seasonally from mid-February to mid-November, 7 days a week. They reopen for the 2021 season on February 12th.

Known for their “World Famous” seafood buffet, The Original Benjamin’s Calabash Seafood Buffet offers over 170 all-you-can-eat items. From ribeye steak to cajun crab legs, The Original Benjamin’s has been featured in USA Today and Southern Living. They also have an in-house bakery that creates divine treats like banana pudding, oreo delight, chocolate truffles, peach cobbler, and so many more.

While you are there, be sure to check out their Dry Sea Aquarium that features life-sized mounted sea creatures. You will love the Nautical Collection seen around the restaurant and the Nautical Museum featuring historic military ship models. 

The Original Benjamin’s buffet is open daily at 2:30 PM from Memorial Day to Labor Day and at 3:30 PM from Labor Day to Memorial Day. Groups are welcome!

With over 200 items on the buffet including crab legs, local oysters and clams, clam chowder, and more, you’ll definitely leave Captain Benjamin’s feeling satisfied.

Bennett’s Calabash Seafood Buffet now has 3 locations on the Grand Strand (North Myrtle Beach, Restaurant Row in Myrtle Bech, and Broadway at the Beach), all with the same delicious, fresh, and quality seafood. Opening in 1978, Bennett’s has proudly served the Grand Strand with their succulent fried, broiled, and steamed seafood dishes ever since. 

The North Myrtle Beah location is open Thursday – Monday 3 PM – 9 PM. The Restaurant Row location is open Monday – Friday 2 PM – 9 PM and Saturday and Sunday 1 PM – 9 PM. The Broadway at the Beach location is open Monday – Friday 1:30 PM – 10 PM. and Saturday and Sunday 11:30 AM – 10 PM.
