For over 72 years The Gay Dolphin Gift Cove has been on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk since the beginning. This larger-than-life shop has almost everything you could want to find in a souvenir shop, from shark’s teeth to t-shirts and home decor! Open daily from 9:30 a.m. to midnight.
Good Vibes is a cute little beach shop with bohemian vibes! Browse their selection of ladies’ apparel, accessories and a variety of beach souvenirs. Open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Gummie Bears and chocolate and candy –oh, my! You will be in a sugar dream when you visit the I Love Sugar candy shop. They have rows and bins of just about every kind of candy you could imagine. Candy is purchased by weight, so feel free to mix it up with a variety of different sweets. Open Sunday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to midnight.
Now a prominent Myrtle Beach icon, the SkyWheel stands at over 200-feet tall on the Myrtle Beach shore. There are 42 air-conditioned gondolas to take you up and around for the best view of the Grand Strand. Tickets are $16 for adults and $12 for children. The SkyWheel even offers VIP gondolas with glass bottom floors so you can get a 360-degree view of Myrtle Beach.
Get your thrills on the Boardwalk SlingShot Thrill Ride, located on the corner of 12th Avenue North and Ocean Boulevard. You and a friend will be launched over 300-feet into the air for the ride of your life. Video and photo packages are available; tickets are sold on site.
Get your fill of Ripley’s fun with 4 different Ripley’s attractions right on the boardwalk! Take a peek at jaw-dropping discoveries like shrunken heads at Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Odditorium. Tickets for Ripley’s Believe It Or Not are $24.99 for adults and $14.99 for children.
Want to take your Ripley’s experience to the next level? Try Ripley’s Haunted Adventure where the actors will try to scare the pants off of you. Ripley’s Haunted Adventure tickets are $14.99 for adults and $9.99 for children (ages 8-11).
If you’re not looking for a jump-scare, but maybe something that’s challenging and fun, Ripley’s Marvelous Mirror Maze is the way to go! Make your way through the mirror maze, but be careful, some things aren’t always as they seem. All tickets (adults & children) are $9.99 at the Mirror Maze.
We saved the best for last, Ripley’s Moving Theater is the ultimate 5D experience. Get bumped, shaken and dipped as you watch a 3D movie and feel like you’re part of the movie itself! Ripley’s Moving Theater offers adult tickets at $14.99 and children’s tickets at $9.99.
For our ultimate thrill-seekers, check out Myrtle Beach Zipline Adventures. You can zipline, free fall or try the new adventure matrix ropes course…all while taking in the beauty of the Atlantic Ocean. This adventure course is located in Pavilion Park on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk between 8th and 9th Avenues North. Tickets for adults start at $39.95, and tickets for kids start at $19.95.
If you’re looking for something to do that’s a little more low-key, check out Pier 14. You can dine, grab a drink or just take in the ocean views. Their restaurant and lounge offer premium beverages, draft beers and a menu filled with delicious seafood options. Or cast out a line from the pier. Their Gift Shop offers fishing passes, pole rentals and live bait!
Banditos Cantina has burritos, tacos and nachos, all served with a gorgeous view of the Atlantic. You can even enjoy fresh hand-squeezed margaritas with premium tequila. Located in TheBLVD entertainment complex, Banditos is open Monday through Sunday from 11:00 to 2:00 a.m.
Chow down on American pub grub and wash it all down with an ice-cold LandShark. Located right beside the SkyWheel, LandShark has tropical drinks, burgers, fish taco and so much more! Open seven days a week from 11:00 a.m. to midnight.
This place doesn’t just have amazing food, it also has entertainment and a rooftop bar! RipTydz boasts burgers, tacos and build-your-own “Mac’d Out” macaroni and cheese! After dinner, play a round of corn-hole on their rooftop bar while enjoying music, cocktails and the warm ocean breeze. Riptydz is open daily from 11:00 to 1:00 a.m.
What says beach vacation more than a delicious daiquiri? Head over to Hurricanes for frozen daiquiris of every flavor, like Electric Lemonade, Mardi Gras Mash, Margarita and more! You can also grab pub grub, hurricane baskets and delicious starters to nosh on while enjoying your drinks. Hurricanes opens daily at 11:00 a.m.
A Myrtle Beach historical gem, The Bowery is a boardwalk original and still a very popular bar on the Grand Strand. Catch the local house band, The Bounty Hunters, play each night starting at 8:30 p.m. while you grab a beer or two. The Bowery also has a full-service kitchen serving up scrumptious burgers and wings plus awesome Happy Hour specials! The Bowery opens at 11:00 a.m. daily, and food is served until 11:00 p.m.
Step of the boardwalk and into the “lab” of The Chemist! Here you can enjoy creative hand-crafted cocktails like the Sixth Element, a margarita-like cocktail with basil and jalapeno-infused tequila, rum, OJ, house sour and a Grand Marnier floater. YUM! At The Chemist, you can also enjoy a variety of food from burgers to salads. Some of our favorites include Poke Tuna Tacos, Sriracha Honey Fried Chicken and The Chemist Burger. The Chemist is open from 11:00 – 2:00 a.m. daily.
Moe Moon’s a fun spot to sit down and grab a bite with a BIG drink! Try their Hang Over Burger, a juicy beef burger topped with bacon, egg, cheese and a crispy fried onion ring! But what everyone REALLY comes to Moe Moon’s for is the famous fishbowls! Share with a friend or sip on your own, these giant drinks come in a variety of flavors like the Beach Blast, Riptide, Love Potion and more! Stop by Moe Moon’s from noon to 8:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, or Friday and Saturday from noon to 10:00 p.m.
